What if later today you were in a car accident, had a heart attack, or had some other horrible accident and died as a result?  What really would happen to you? 
     It is a question that we all have pondered on some level at several times throughout our life.  There is no question that almost without exception everyone wants to go to Heaven.  There are many different beliefs and teachings out there on this subject, but many of them conflict with each other.  Who is right and who is wrong?  With eternity riding on this decision, this is one you don't want to get wrong!
    Why don't we forget about what "that church" or "that group" says and look at God's very words to us, the Bible, and see what He says.  After all, He is the one in charge of who gets into Heaven.

 1. 1John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."  The Bible very clearly says that we can know for sure that we will go to Heaven.
 2.  Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:   Not of works, lest any man should boast."   The Bible very clearly tells us that our works, good or bad, have nothing to do with whether or not we go to Heaven.
 3.  Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."  We see here that we are all sinners.  Sin is anything that you do, say, or think that displeases God.  We also see that because of our sin, we fall short of God's standard (glory of God).  His standard is perfection, and every one of us lost that a long time ago.
 4.   Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is
